Entry #7 Americas truth
The purpose of this video was to show the audience how animals really are being treated. To show everyone who watched fresh(video)that showed abuse and what they have to go through. The video is supposed to perhaps convince watchers to not eat artificially grown animals filled with hormones and infected with diseases. It should make everyone feel disgusted and a little sad on how they are treated and raised.
I would say the audience is the viewers of the video. It could also be protesters against ill raised animals. Vegans convincing meat eaters to turn over to healthier ways. Convincing them that long-term effects are better than the short-term effects. The tone was more of a sad tone and disappointed because of how things have to be now. The way farming is done today can possibly lead to worse effects in the future. The parts of the film that surprised me are the part where they are dropping all the baby chicks on the floor with no care. Another part that surprised me was when I saw how natural farming is way different than the other way.
Americans do not care about who forms the food or how they make it. Everyone just eats what they see. They only do not eat it if it doesn't look or taste good.Farmers say we "tipped the system too much" and I believe that's true. Nothing is the same as the way farming used to be. We carry an absurd amount of animals in one animal house. They torture the animals just to be able to even fit them all in one place. Even though everyone does this they never realize how badly the animals are treated. What they spray the animals with leads to many diseases. these diseases are saying to stop ruining nature. With this kind of farms as well they have fertility crisis and so they go on inject them with drugs that force their bodies to be able to give milk without even being pregnant. our rural areas are dying. Everyone independently makes the choice to purchase unhealthy food and they all believe its impossible to diet. Even when people see documentaries about the food they seem disgusted yet still eat the food. No one truly cares about what they eat they just say "I need my meat".
